My favorite dish that my Grandmother makes. SO much flavor, a little heat, and cheesiness.
Cook your box of pasta & drain. I prefer to leave the pasta draining while I make the sauce, so I can use the same pot (less dishes to clean!).
Using med. heat, in the pot you used to boil the pasta, put in the diced onion & garlic. Let that cook until you can smell the garlic - approx. 2 minutes.
Add the Worcestershire sauce, mustard, tobasco, paprika, evaporated milk, half & half. Mix!
Grab your pasta that has been draining and add that back into the pot with the sauce.
Slowing incorporate the cheeses and make sure the pasta is coated and creamy. Add more cheese, if your heart needs.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Pour the Mac & Cheese into a 9x11 casserole dish, cover with foil, and bake for 30 minutes.
While the Mac & Cheese is baking, mix the Panko bread crumbs & olive oil (for the crust) in a small bowl.
After 30 minutes in the oven, remove from oven & remove foil. Top with the crumb mixture. Place back into the oven for 10 minutes (or until the top is golden).
Serve & Enjoy!
